How do I add Service Notes for particular Job Type in Connect2Field
After you have created your Job Types, you can create Default Service and Completion Notes.
Default service notes are instructions that you can add to the job so Field Workers knows exactly what to do.
Example of Service Notes
1. System scan
2. Network connectivity
3. System virus software update and cleaning
4. Look for upgrade opportunities
5. Take customer questions/ feedback
6. Schedule next appointment.
Completion notes can also be created, so Field Workers don't have to type/re-type the same information again and again.
You can create multiple service and completed notes for each job type.
The field workers can edit the default notes and add their own if required.
This tutorial will explain how to configure the default notes
Login to Connect2Field and select Options, Job Configuration, Manage Job Type & Job Template Descriptions
Select EDIT on the job type that you would like to add service notes.
For this feature, you need to have Job Types added already. For more information on creating job types click here
Within this screen you can enter your Default Service Description and Completed Notes
Remember to click Save
If you have multiple Service notes for the one job type, you can view or edit them from within this screen
Now create a new job to see how to use the service notes
Using the Service Notes
When creating your job, select your Job Type.
The screen will load for a second and allow you to select the field underneath for your default service description.
The Special Instructions field can be used to add further details about the job.. Your field worker can see these on their mobile device, so they know in-depth details for the sercvice to be performed..
