Configuring SMS for Field Workers in Connect2Field
Sending SMS messages to your Field Workers is a handy way to alerting them when a new job has been dispatched.
With Connect2Field we couldn't make it any simpler to configure.
Below are the details on how to setup and edit your SMS system.
Login to Connect2Field and select Options, Users, then Manage Users

Creating users or Selecting existing
If you haven't create a user, click Create New User.
Otherwise, if you have existing Users select View.
Editing Users
Enter your Field Workers mobile including your country code IE (44 for UK - 1 for USA - 61 AUS then your Field Workers number) No + before the number is necessary
Select alert by SMS
Click Save

Go back to Options
Select SMS and Email Management
Editing the SMS
In the screen, you can select from our drop down menu to edit Auto Emails and SMS's.
Select SMS msg. for Field Worker when job dispatched for this example
Text Editing
The text displayed will be what your field workers receives
You can edit the text which you would like your Field Workers to receive
Note the text inside the {{ --- }} this data is auto populated text from our system. Below is the details on how to add or edit this type of data.
Editing auto populated text
1. Click on Add Fields in the bottom left
2. Select which information you would like auto populated in the text, and copy and paste the example into your SMS text.
Click Save
Now you have created and configured your SMS options, the next time you alert Field Worker they will receive a SMS
