Connect2Field Field Woker WebApp - Iphone Example
In this Tutorial, we will explain how the Field Staff use the Connect2Field Field Workers WebApp Interface
The Field Worker WebApp will work and any 3g enabled phone and web browser. For this example we are using the Iphone.
For Iphones, we have an App available now. Search for Connect2Field under the App Store on your Iphone
For all other Mobile devices, connect to the Mobile interface by typing :

Login using your Field Workers ID and password setup through options in your administrator portal. More details about user setup can be found here
Once logged in you come to our mobile main menu. This allows you to:
1. View new jobs dispatched to your field worker
2. Active jobs ( Any jobs excepted by the field worker will be stored here)
3. Completed Jobs (List of all the completed jobs your field worker has completed)
4. Messaging System (To receive and reply to messages from the office)
5. Add customer ( Creating new customers while on the road)
6. Add Job ( Creating new jobs while on the road)
7. View customer (Search your client list for contacts, phone numbers ect)
8. Clock In/Clock Out (You field worker can clock in for the day, and clock out. This is used for reporting purposes only)
9. Logout

Once a job has been assigned to your field worker, the number beside New jobs will change. This is their signal to click New Jobs.
Within the new Jobs, your field workers can scroll up and down to view all new jobs. If they would like more detail, click on a job number.
The pink telephones, will allow your field workers to auto dial the customers number if need be.
What fields you would like to see in the job listing can be set up from Fieldworker WebApp Setting page in Admin. A help doc for this setup is available here.
Once a job has been selected and accepted, they now show in the 'Active Jobs'
At this stage you would be prompted if you would like to continue.. Choosing yes would open the job details page for that job as below:
You can control what details you would like to appear in the job details page by setting this up in Admin. A help doc on this setup is available here
Scroll Down the job and click Travel Start.
This would prompt you to enter your Travel Start Details as below:
Click Save once you have set the Travel Start time.
Repeat the same step for entering your Travel Finish Times by clicking on Travel Finish from bottom of yor screen.
Once Travel Start & Finish has been entered your job details screen would be as below:
Click on Start Job.
You will be asked to enter the time of Job Start. Enter the time and click Save.
Next you would be asked your Job Start Questions as below.

Once the job has started. Your field worker can return back to the main menu to view any new messages or jobs. To return to this job, find the job number under active jobs.
When in a job, you get some other options like Add Products, Completed notes etc. Depending on how your have the mobile configure, when you finish a job the system will automatically ask you to confirm or add P&S.
Click Add Products.
Here you see all the products and services. If the job was created with some products and services from Admin, they appear below when you scroll down.
You could add more products too.. You can search products by typing in the search box or search via tags to quick search products and services.

The above job was created with a product as is visible above. Your field worker can choose between adding a new Adhoc Product, or Selecting a Product from your inventory
Click Finish Job. It will prompt you to enter finish time. Save.
You are promted to answer any Job Finish Questions set for this job type.
Answer the question and click 'Finish Job'
If you have any completion notes set up you would be prompted to enter them here.
Once done. click Finish.
If you have enabled Receive Payment option within your Field Worker WebApp Configuration from Admin, you would be prompted to enter Payment Receipt details.
Enter the information and click 'Receive Payment'
You are now promted to upload any photo or document related to the job. Do so by clicking browse.
Finally, Finish Job.
Completed Job lists all the jobs completed by the Field Worker.
To view or modify any details of the completed job, click on the Job No.
All the job details along with, start and finish time, duration, completion notes etc are displayed here.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
From here you can
1) Add products to the completed job
2) Put in or modify completion notes
3) Modify Start and Finish Date or Time for the job
You could choose to Email the invoice to the client or Download it to the phone.
Emailing would send the invoice to the email id registered for the client in Admin.
The job is now completed and ready to be invoiced in the Admin.
