How to Re-Alert / Notify your Field Staff when a Job is re-scheduled
Service businesses funtion real-time. Job specifics like the day the job is to be carried out or product additions, such changes are bound to happen.. It is crucial your office Admin and Field Staff are in sync with these real-time changes..
This tutorial will explain how to re-alert your field workers if any previously created job is re-scheduled or of any changes to the job descriptions.
From your Dashboard Choose:
1) Job Central
2) Check the job you would like to make changes to and click View.. This would bring up the Job Card..
For this example we are changing the Job Type and the Start/End Dates..
Notice the changes we have made to the job..
Click Save and Close Job when done..
Back to the Job Central..
As you can see the job details have changed for the job 10021..
Your field staff needs to be notified about the change in Job Details.. To do this follow:
1) To SMS: Choose SMS ALERT-> SMS Field Worker
2) To Email: Click Send Job
Note: For this functionality to work, a valid email and mobile no is to be present in your Field Worker User Setup.. Also, whether they receive an SMS or Email depends upon the 'Alert By" field setup under the User Settings..
