How To Capture Clients Signature as Job Conformation

We are right now in the 'Active Job' screen on the Iphone..
It is Job No: 515 for Shelton Hotels

Scroll to the bottom of the Screen..

Here you can see the Capture Clients Signature link..

You would follow the Job Steps as usual.. Starting with 'Accepting' the job.. Later when you are ready to Finish the Job, use this signature capture link..

Let us see the Capture screen now..

This blank area above & below the grey line is where the signature is captured..

Your client may use a touch pen to sign or even with their fingers!
You can also type the name of the person signing in the box provided..

Let us see a signed page below..

Once the signature is captured, hit 'Finish Job'
Else if you upload without checking the box, you get redirected to the Job Details page for this job..

Use Clear to clean the writing area off the signature..

The signature is uploaded as an image file into the Job, in you Admin Job Central..
Let us look at this in the Job Central..

From Within your Job Central we are choosing Job: 515, which we worked upon on the Iphone..
Check the job and click 'View'

This opens up the Job Card for Job: 515 as below..

Notice the Documents Tab in the Job Card.. Here is where the signature we took on the Iphone is uploaded to..
The Document tab shows (1) because 1 new file (the signature) has been uploaded here..

Click on the Documents Tab..

The signature has been successfully uploaded as an image file in the Documents section..

Click on the file name to open the signature in a separate browser window..

The setting to accept signature needs to be enabled from Admin.. See Below

From the main menu, choose:
Options -> Fieldworker WebApp Configuration -> FieldWorker WebApp Configuration

Check the option:
"Do you want to Capture Client Signature after Job Completion ?"

Hit Save
Your field staff will now see the page to accept Signature in the final stages of job completion..

As you can see, the signature functionality within Connect2Field is very useful for getting conformation for the services provided at your clients sites.. It is also a great feature if you are looking to do a paperless office!
