How to Re-schedule/temporarily remove a Job via the Scheduler

Every once a while service businesses face the challenge of being able to re-schedule a job.. This could be for any reasons, maybe a technician is unavailable, the customer was unavailable..

Connect2Field allows you to easily remove jobs from schedule, yet conveniently storing all the job info and allowing to reschedule it..
Let us see this with an example..

The above screen shows the Scheduler.. We have couple of jobs assigned to different field workers..
Let us say for example, the client for the selected job called in and informed to reschedule the job at 11am.. Our field worker 'Nick Cole' has been allotted a different job at 11am..
However, we see that 'Ethan White' is available for the 11am time slot!

Let us now see how to easily re-schedule this job to 'Ethan White'

Right Click on the Job in scheduler window..
In the pop-up select 'Remove from Schedule'

This moves the job to column to the extreme right 'Unassigned Jobs' as below:

Let us now assign this job to our Field worker 'Ethan White'

To do this simply drag and drop the job in the time line for 'Ethan White'

As you drag the job into the time line, the job shows the time in the clock window.. This is useful to assign the job at the correct time..
Drop the job when the clock reaches 11am..

As you can see from above, the Job got re-assigned to 'Ethan White' for 11am same day..
Please Note: This job is still not dispatched.. To dispatch it, right click the job and select 'Dispatch Job'.. That should notify the field worker about the new job and they can start it from their mobile devices..

If you know the re-schedule time before hand you could simply drag and drop the job from the 1st field workers time line to the 2nd field workers time line.. If you don't have the new time, the job will lie in the 'Unassigned Jobs' list, for when you come back and actually re-assign it..
