How to Update Product Prices while in the Field

Your account with Connect2Field comes with an inbuilt Inventory Management system, which you use to add products to jobs, update stock, manage warehouses and finally invoice your customers..

At times it is imperative to be able to modify price of products while on the field, say for example, a special discount to a loyal customer.. This is possible via your Field Worker WebApp login.. Hence your product price components in admin remain unchanged..

Let us see how.. Below is an example of how to do this via the Field Worker WebApp interface..

The above shows a "Pc Software Maintenance Job" with details..

You start the jobs and follow the steps as usual..

Under the Products section you can see there are products added to the job, via the Admin..

Let us now change the price and Quantity fields for these products, as below:

1) We changed the 'Quantity' for the product "Logitech Keyboard-Mouse Combo"
2) We changed the 'Price ex Tax' for the product 'Quick Heal Anti Virus'
(Please Note: Here you could change either, 'Price Ex Tax' or 'Price Inc Tax' fields, and the other would be calculated accordingly, that is vice versa)
3) Shows the products with quantities and price as original.. This shows complete total for the Job.. This has not yet been modified, because we still need to update the list..
4) Hit 'Add Product' to modify the final list and calculations.. Results below"
(Also note, you can also enter new products by selecting them from list and finally hitting Add Product)

The above screen shows that the 'Jobs Selected Products' section has been updated with the modifications done to the product price and quantity fields above..

Being able to add and modify inventory is something many businesses may find useful for their business..
