How to Add Discount to Jobs
This tutorial will explain how to add discounts to jobs..
Above shows a job card which has product added to it..
Too add a new product, hit 'Add'
Enter a product name.. For this example we have added 'Special Discount'
Put in the 'Unit Price' as a negative value.. For ex: -25 and a quantity of 1..
This means that $25 will be deducted from the total invoice value..
Please Note:
1) In above example, 'Special Discount' is not an existing product in the Inventory.. It is just created for this job..
2) The product name 'Special Discount' cannot be used in other jobs after being added to the current job.. Hence a good practice is to add such discount product names as 'discount for job 1129' etc..
3) Alternatively, you could create a product in Inventory and set the 'Set Inventory' box unchecked.. This product can then be reused across multiple jobs without keeping stock of it..
Hit Update when done
Product has been added to the job..
This discount is also visible under invoices.. Have a look below:

1) Discount added as a product
2) The invoice value is calculated accordingly..
